Bert Nip

Bert Nip has extensive experience in firefighting and emergency response, currently serving as On Scene Commander at Vliegbasis Leeuwarden with Koninklijke Luchtmacht since June 2023, while simultaneously working as an Eximinator at Instituut Fysieke Veiligheid (IFV) since July 2021. With a long tenure at the Ministerie van Defensie since August 2012 as a Docent Brandweer and Senior Instructor for BOTC/KMSL, along with roles as a Senior Fire Instructor at Royal Netherlands Air Force since December 2017 and an Instructor at Bon Holding since February 2014, Bert Nip brings a wealth of expertise to the field. Additionally, involvement as a member of the rescue/extrication team at TT Circuit Assen since 2009 further enhances the diverse skill set. Educational qualifications include ongoing training at IFV and a degree from defensie KMSL-BOTC, earning the title of On Scene Commander in firefighting.
