Roland van der Zwaag

Roland van der Zwaag has extensive experience in meteorology, operating as a weather service provider and presenter across multiple regional broadcasters, including Omrop Fryslân, RTV Noord, Omroep West, RTV Drenthe, and RTV Oost since 2016. As the owner of Weerexperts, established in December 2021, Roland leads a group of freelance meteorologists providing localized weather services. Prior to this, Roland had significant roles in environmental management, including working with the Provincie Groningen as a permit issuer for extraction activities and leading soil remediation projects, showcasing a strong background in environmental science with an M.Sc. from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences. Roland's educational foundation includes a bachelor's degree in management of natural resources from Het Van Hall Instituut.
