Thijs Doornbos

Thijs Doornbos is an experienced professional currently serving as a track marshall at TT Circuit Assen since February 2023. In addition, Thijs holds the position of lead electrical engineer at Hanze Racing Division - HARD, where responsibilities include assembling and testing components for the HRD-06, with a focus on the accumulator container. Thijs has also been involved in catering assistance and event support at Break Out Grunopark since July 2022 and has been a sales manager at Fun4Dogs since January 2016, managing in-store sales and deliveries. Previous roles include working in horeca and tourism during the Dutch Grand Prix in September 2022 and leading sales at Karwei from January 2020 to July 2022, as well as delivering flyers for Spotta from January 2019 to January 2020. Thijs is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sensor Technology and Electrical Engineering at Hanzehogeschool Groningen, expected to graduate in 2025, having previously completed Havo in Techniek at Wesselgansfort from 2015 to 2021.
