Marika Calfas serves as the Chief Executive Officer of NSW Ports, overseeing the management of key import and export gateways in Port Botany and Port Kembla, along with intermodal terminals at Cooks River and Enfield. With a robust background in strategic planning and infrastructure management, Marika has held various positions, including Interim CEO and Executive General Manager for Strategy, Planning & Infrastructure at NSW Ports, and General Manager at Sydney Ports Corporation. Additionally, Marika is a board member of Infrastructure NSW and TT Club and holds leadership roles at Ports Australia, Infrastructure Partnerships Australia, and the Australian Logistics Council. Marika’s educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering with University Medal from UNSW and two Master’s degrees in Engineering Management and Environmental Law.
