Joe Slitzker

Joe Slitzker has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Joe is currently working at TTCU Federal Credit Union as the Vice President of Technology and Innovation. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Information Technology at TTCU from 2018 to 2021.

Before joining TTCU, Joe worked at Creek County Sheriff's Office as a Reserve Lieutenant from 2012. Joe also had a role as a Reserve Police Officer at Verdigris Police Department from 2011 to 2012.

Joe's previous experience includes serving as the Director of Operations and Technology at Sapulpa Public Schools from 2012 to 2018. In this role, they led multiple departments and was responsible for implementing a 1:1 initiative for students and a bond project for infrastructure upgrades.

Prior to that, Joe worked at Tulsa Technology Center as an IT Security Engineer and System Administrator from 2010 to 2012. Joe was involved in data center re-design, disaster recovery planning, and automation tools development.

Joe also worked as an IT - Systems Administrator at Case & Associates from 2008 to 2010 and as an IT - Desktop Support/Webmaster at City of Owasso from 2006 to 2008.

Joe Slitzker has an extensive education history, starting with their Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Management Information Systems and Services from Tulsa Community College, which they obtained between 2009 and 2014. Joe then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Organizational Leadership at Northeastern State University from 2014 to 2016.

To further enhance their knowledge and skills, Joe completed several additional certifications. In 2008, they obtained the A+ certification from CompTIA. Later, in January 2020, they achieved two certifications: "Digital Transformation for Tech Leaders" and "Foundations of The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0)," both earned from LinkedIn.

Recently, Joe pursued a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Oklahoma State University. Joe commenced their master's studies in 2018 and successfully obtained their degree in 2021.
