David Cantu has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. David started their career as an Electronics Technician at Qualex, Inc in 1991, troubleshooting photo finishing and computer equipment while providing process support and quality control. In 1996, they joined Intermedics as an Engineering Technician, where they maintained manufacturing and control systems and developed preventative maintenance schedules. David then worked at Marconi Medical Systems as a Field Service Engineer, providing service for diagnostic imaging equipment and coordinating equipment installations. At Guidant, they served as a Sr. Engineering Technician, assisting in equipment design and maintenance. David then joined Benchmark Electronics as a Product Engineering Technician, focusing on manufacturing process optimization. David later worked at Texas Children's Hospital as a Biomedical Engineering Technician, providing technical support and implementing solutions for equipment recalls. Currently, they are employed at TTG Imaging Solutions as a Lead Field Service Engineer in the Southwest Region, where they offer technical support and service for medical imaging equipment.

David Cantu earned an Associate's degree in Electronics from DeVry Institute of Technology between 1987 and 1989. Later, between 2003 and 2005, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Technical Management from DeVry University.
