Roeland Scholtes

Roeland Scholtes has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the maritime industry. Roeland currently serves as the Operations Director Europe at MacGregor since June 2021. Prior to this, they were the Owner of Ventus PMC from November 2019 to May 2021. Roeland also held multiple positions at PALFINGER MARINE, including Vice President EMEA from October 2017 to October 2019 and Managing Director from January 2017 to October 2019. Before that, Roeland was the Managing Director - Netherlands at Harding Safety AS from January 2016 to January 2017 and the Global Service Director from November 2013 to January 2016, where they developed and implemented global strategies and improved business processes. Roeland started their career as a Service Engineer at Willem Pot BV in 2002 and held various roles, including Technical Manager, Service Coordinator, and eventually became the Managing Director from September 2007 to November 2013.

Roeland Scholtes has a Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, earned between 1995 and 2000. Roeland also completed courses in Finance for Executives at INSEAD in 2007 and pursued studies in FMA at Nyenrode Business University from 2006 to 2007.
