Jayakrishnan H R Nair

Jayakrishnan H R Nair, PhD, is a seasoned professional in data stewardship and research with extensive experience in neuroscience, data integration, and knowledge graph development. Currently serving as a Data Steward at Eindhoven University of Technology since September 2024, Jayakrishnan previously held the position of Research Engineer focusing on knowledge graphs and ontology at Loria from May 2023 to August 2024, where responsibilities included ontological analysis and collaboration with stakeholders to derive data-driven solutions. As a Data Integration Specialist with the Blue Brain Project from June 2019 to December 2021, Jayakrishnan led data integration projects applying FAIR principles. Previous roles include post-doctoral research at the University of Lausanne and a Doctoral Research Fellowship at Université de Fribourg, culminating in a PhD in Neuroscience. Jayakrishnan's academic background also includes professional education in machine learning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and degrees in bioinformatics and electronics from Mahatma Gandhi University.
