Daniel Rueckert is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of artificial intelligence and data science in healthcare and medicine. Currently serving as the Alexander von Humboldt Professor for AI and Director at the Institute for AI and Data Science in Healthcare and Medicine at the Technical University of Munich since September 2020, Daniel Rueckert has held a professorship and the role of Head of Department at Imperial College London since October 1999. Additionally, Daniel Rueckert co-founded and acted as a consultant for IXICO from March 2005 to September 2020 and provided consulting services for Magic Pony Technology from March 2015 to June 2016. Daniel Rueckert began a career in research as a fellow at King's College London from October 1997 to October 1999. Daniel Rueckert earned a PhD in Computer Science from Imperial College London between 1994 and 1997, and a Diplom in Computer Science from Technische Universität Berlin from 1988 to 1994.
