Dr. David Gerber

Dr. David Gerber currently serves as a Professor of Practice in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Architecture at the University of Southern California, where Dr. David also directs the Civil Engineering Building Science Program and the Master of Science in Advanced Design and Construction Program. Additionally, Dr. Gerber holds advisory roles at Plantaer, Naya, and trax.co. Involvement with the Technical University of Munich as part of the International Scientific Committee for the TUM Georg Nemetschek Institute focuses on integrating artificial intelligence into the built environment. Previously, Dr. Gerber was the Global Research Manager Associate Principal/Associate Director at Arup and has held various academic positions and industry roles since completing advanced degrees at Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the Architectural Association.
