Mario Trapp

Mario Trapp is an accomplished executive and academic with extensive experience in the field of computer science and engineering. Currently serving as the Executive Director at Fraunhofer IKS since July 2017, Mario Trapp also holds the position of Full Professor at Technische Universität München since June 2022. Prior to these roles, Mario Trapp worked as Division Manager, Department Head, and Senior Engineer at Fraunhofer-Institut für Experimentelles Software Engineering IESE from September 2005 to April 2019. Earlier in the career, Mario Trapp was a Scientific Researcher at Technische Universität Kaiserslautern from October 2001 to August 2005. Educationally, Mario Trapp earned a Dr.-Ing. in Informatik and a Diplom in Technoinformatik from TU Kaiserslautern between 1996 and 2005.
