Marko Tesanovic

Doctoral Candidate

Marko Tesanovic is a Doctoral Candidate at Technische Universität München since October 2020, specializing in Industry 4.0, Digital Twin technology, Bioprocess Engineering, and Downstream Processing. In August 2023, Marko became a Founding Team Member at onyx-biotech, focusing on BioTech, Software, Biophysics, and DeepTech. Previous experience includes two roles as a Scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Department of Chemical Engineering, where the focus was on Mechanistic Modelling and Simulation. Earlier, Marko worked as a Scientist at UC Santa Barbara, investigating NMR and EPR spectroscopy, and held research positions at DWI - Leibniz-Institut für Interaktive Materialien and Bayer, specifically in downstream processing and additive manufacturing. Marko also has teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at RWTH Aachen University and has obtained a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and Management Science and Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and Tsinghua University, respectively, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
