Peter Kocsis is a PhD student at the Technical University of Munich since October 2019, conducting research in photo-realistic 3D reconstruction under the guidance of Matthias Niessner. Peter has been recognized as part of the Best In TUM program, which highlights the top two percent of students in the Department of Informatics. Peter holds a Master of Science in Robotics, Cognition, and Intelligence from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. In addition, Peter has gained practical experience as a research intern at Adobe and as a software engineer at evosoft, alongside early experience as a software development trainee at SZTAKI.
