Dietmar Gombotz is an accomplished entrepreneur and educator with extensive experience in technology and innovation. As the CEO and Founder of SPHARES GmbH since June 2013, Dietmar has spearheaded various initiatives in cloud computing and high-tech start-ups, while also serving as a lecturer at Fachhochschule Wiener Neustadt and Vienna University of Technology on topics related to cloud computing, innovation, and business development. With a background in strategic IT consulting and leadership roles, including CEO and Co-Founder of UGP materials GmbH and Chief Financial Officer of Zukunftshof, Dietmar has contributed to urban farming initiatives and sustainable technologies. Dietmar's academic credentials include multiple degrees in Computer Science and Business Informatics from Technische Universität Wien and the University of Derby, complemented by a diploma in Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

The i²c is the Competence Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at TUW. Together with the TUW Research and Technology Transfer Office, we aim for a visible and sustainable support of university spin-offs. Our programs aim to support innovative founder teams along the whole value chain: from ideation to implementation.
