Victoria Astigarraga Ruiz de Velasco

Victoria Astigarraga Ruiz de Velasco is an experienced materials engineer with a focus on research and development in the field of materials. Currently serving as an Investigadora en TUBACEX INNOVACIÓN since May 2016, Victoria is responsible for quality management of the laboratory in accordance with ISO 17025 standards and characterizes materials, primarily stainless steels and nickel-based alloys. Prior experience includes a role as an Investigadora at GAIKER from October 2012 to January 2016, where responsibilities involved securing funding for R&D projects and developing polymer matrix formulations. Victoria also gained valuable experience during a cooperative educational role at TECNALIA Research & Innovation in 2011-2012, focusing on metal sample preparation and vacuum furnace casting. Victoria holds a Doctorate in Materials Engineering, a Master's in Advanced Materials Engineering, and a degree in Materials Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, further amplifying knowledge and expertise in the field.
