Drew Baldwin has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2002 as an Intern, Production Management at MTV Networks. In 2003, they worked as a Private Investigator at Kroll, followed by a Disaster Services Coordinator at the American Red Cross in 2005. In 2006, they were a Coordinator, Commercials, Music Videos and New Media at the Paradigm Talent Agency. In 2007, they held two roles as Executive Director at the Silver Lake Art Crawl and Director at Studio 8 Entertainment, as well as Community Manager at The Daily Reel. In 2008, they founded and became CEO of Tubefilter. In 2009, they created and became Executive Producer of the Streamy Awards. Finally, in 2011, they became Executive Director of Social Media Week Los Angeles.

Drew Baldwin attended Phillips Academy from 1994 to 1999, and then Yale University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a B.A. in Special Program in Humanities.
