Fenglin Yuan, PhD has a diverse work experience in machine learning and data science. Their most recent role is as a Senior Software Engineer at Tubi, where they focus on NLP embedding for recommendation systems and unsupervised learning for creating diverse content. Prior to that, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at American Express, leading the development of Aquila ML library and working on natural language processing, topic modeling, time series analysis, and building recommendation systems. Fenglin Yuan, PhD has a strong educational background. Fenglin obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Materials Physics from Wuhan University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Materials Science and Engineering from 2008 to 2013 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In addition to their formal education, Fenglin Yuan has also obtained several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills.
