Sang Lu

Sang Lu has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analytics. They started their career as a Statistical Consultant at It's On Us, where they provided statistical consulting services and conducted real-time analytics on survey responses. Following that, they worked as a Statistical Programmer Intern at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where they were involved in data quality control and developed utility programs for data analysis and management. Subsequently, Sang Lu joined Kantar Consulting as a Product Development and Analytics professional, where they proposed new analytical methods and created systems for customer segmentation and subscription prediction. They then moved to LendingTree, where they initially worked as an Optimization Analyst, building recommendation algorithms and researching algorithms for keyword extraction from website reviews. Later, they took on the role of Senior Analyst, Strategy and Analytics. Currently, Sang Lu is working as a Data Scientist at Meta, and in 2023 they will be joining Tubi in the same role.

Sang Lu completed a Master's Degree in Statistics from North Carolina State University from 2015 to 2017. During the same period, Sang Lu also obtained another Master's degree in Food Science from North Carolina State University. Prior to that, Sang Lu earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Biological Science from Zhejiang University from 2012 to 2016. In terms of certifications, Sang Lu is a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 and SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9, both obtained in 2016 from SAS. Additionally, Sang Lu obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification in 2018 from Google.
