Pankaj's educational background includes a Maintenance Technician degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology from Dr. S & S. S. Gandhy College of Engineering & Technology in Surat, Gujarat, India, along with a Diploma in Business Management from Mombasa Polytechnic in Kenya. Additional secondary education was completed at Aga Khan Kenya Secondary School and Sardar English High School.
