Aaron Howell

Aaron Howell serves as Counsel at Tucker Ellis LLP, focusing on white collar criminal defense and complex business litigation, drawing on extensive experience as a former federal and state prosecutor. Prior to this role, Aaron acted as an Assistant United States Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice from July 2014 to April 2024, representing the United States in criminal prosecutions in both the Northern District of Ohio and the District of Puerto Rico. Aaron's earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney at the Summit County Prosecutor's Office and the Stark County Prosecutor's Office, handling a range of felony and juvenile cases. Aaron holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from The University of Akron. Noteworthy achievements include arguing before the Ohio Supreme Court and securing a unanimous decision.
