Matt Kaplan

Matt Kaplan is a Partner at Tucker Ellis LLP, with a career that spans over two decades in legal practice. Since June 2006, Kaplan has provided legal counsel on business, regulatory, and advertising matters for food, supplement, and cosmetic companies, while also defending clients in consumer class action litigation, environmental enforcement actions, and claims related to California's Proposition 65. Prior to this role, Kaplan served as Of Counsel at Resolution Law Group, P.C., where Kaplan established the firm's Los Angeles office, and worked as a Deputy District Attorney at the Orange County District Attorney's Office, prosecuting environmental crimes. Kaplan began the legal career as an Associate at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal after earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan.
