Melissa Kelly

Melissa Kelly is a dedicated legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal field. Currently a Partner in the Employment Litigation Practice Group at Tucker Ellis LLP since February 2016, Melissa also serves as Counsel in the Business Litigation Practice Group and previously worked as an Associate in the Appellate and Legal Issues Group. Melissa has expertise in representing clients in appellate proceedings in both state and federal courts, focusing on research and litigation. Additionally, Melissa teaches legal writing and research as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Akron School of Law. Prior experience includes positions as Career Judicial Law Clerk for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Immigration Staff Attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, Associate at Spangenberg Shibley & Liber LLP, and Judicial Law Clerk for the Hon. Peter W. Melissa holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Akron School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from New York University.
