Bibiana Toro

Bibiana Toro is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in fiber optics and maintenance management. Currently serving as the Fiber Engineering Manager at Tucows since November 2016, Bibiana oversees projects and technical aspects of fiber engineering. Previously, Bibiana held a maintenance role at Cordeiro Roofing Ltd, where supervision of maintenance for 350 buildings and management of work schedules for maintenance programs were key responsibilities. Bibiana’s experience includes project management at Telmex, where oversight of fiber-to-the-home networks in Colombia was critical, as well as a tenure as Planning Leader, managing extensive network projects. An engineering professional with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Concordia University, Bibiana also possesses language proficiency in English and French from McGill University and a Civil Engineering degree from the Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia.
