Eme K.

Eme K. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2007, Eme worked as a Research Assistant in Cardiology at the University Health Network. In 2013, Eme moved into the field of design, first as a Design Intern at Blue Ant Media, and then as a Visual Designer at Isherwood Geostructural Engineers. From 2013 to 2016, Eme worked at HUMANCONTACT, first as a Visual Designer and then as a Visual Design Lead.

In 2016, Eme joined Tucows as a UX Designer, a role held until 2018 when Eme was promoted to Senior Product Designer. In 2019, Eme became the Lead Product Designer at Tucows, and in 2020, Eme took on the role of Director of Product Design and UX, B2C | B2B SaaS. Currently, Eme is the Director of Business Systems Design at Tucows.

In 2022, Eme also worked as the Director of Product Design and UX at Wavelo.

Eme K. holds an Honours Bachelor of Science (HB.Sc.) degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto. They also have an Advanced Design Diploma in Advertising from George Brown College. In addition, Eme K. has obtained various certifications from institutions such as LinkedIn and the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC-Canada), including certifications in Ethical Behaviour, Executive Leadership, and Operational Excellence Foundations. They have also completed multiple mentorship sessions and acquired knowledge in areas like Adaptive Leadership, Systems Thinking, and Building Resilience.
