Jignya Patel

Jignya Patel, CPA, currently holds the position of Director of Finance at Tucson Airport Authority, having progressed through various roles including Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, and Senior Accountant since June 2021. Prior to joining Tucson Airport Authority, Jignya served as Manager of International Accounting at Leidos, where responsibilities included supporting nine foreign subsidiaries and managing financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and non-US GAAP standards. Jignya’s earlier experience at Leidos also included managing the quarterly reserves process and contributing to month-end closing operations. Other key positions held include Staff Accountant at Pivotal Home Solutions, where exposure to a broad range of accounting areas was gained, and roles as an Accounting Consultant at Accountemps/Roberthalf and Column Technologies. Jignya began the accounting career at Hydro, Inc. focusing on month-end closings, financial statements, and budgeting. Jignya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois Chicago.
