John M. Valencia has extensive work experience in the field of athletic training and sports medicine. John M. is currently serving as the Director of Sports Medicine & Community Liaison at Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, P.C. Since 1998, they have been the Owner of Arizona Sports Care, a company that provides athletic training services in Southern Arizona and the Phoenix metro area. John M. has also served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Salpointe Catholic High School from 2001 to 2022 and at Desert View High School from 1998 to 2001. Prior to these roles, they were the Administrator/Owner of Arizona PT & Sports Rehab from 1994 to 1998. Throughout their career, John has worked with various organizations and clients, including the USTA, NJCAA, and NCAA Div.

John M. Valencia, AT, ATC, CSCS completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Bio & Education at Cornell University. John M. attended the university from 1981 to 1985.
