Peter Coston

Peter Coston has an extensive background in education, serving as Chair of the Arizona Education Association-Retired at the Tucson Chapter since August 2021. Since May 2013, Peter has worked as a substitute teacher and teacher in various capacities at Tucson Unified School District, specializing in Communication Media Technology, Graphic Design, Business Management, and math subjects including Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. Peter also taught math at the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections and Tucson High Magnet School, focusing on individualized learning plans for adolescents. Educational qualifications include a BA in Anthropology from the University of Arizona and a Teacher Certification in Secondary Education from Pima Community College.
