William Harvey

Chief Medical Informatics Officer at Tufts Medicine

William Harvey started their work experience as a Medicine Resident at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in 2002. William then became a Rheumatology Fellow at Boston Medical Center from 2005 to 2008. In 2005, they also served as a Young Investigator at OARSI. From 2008 to the present, they have worked at Tufts Medical Center, first as an Associate Professor of Medicine and Chief Medical Informatics Officer, and currently as the Chief Medical Informatics Officer. William has also volunteered at the American College of Rheumatology in 2003 and worked in the Division of Research at New England Baptist Hospital from 2008 to 2012.

William Harvey started their education in 1994 at Penn State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Science, specifically in Kinesiology. William studied there for four years, completing their undergraduate program in 1998. After this, they joined the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1998 to continue their medical education. William dedicated four years to studying medicine and received their MD degree in 2002. Following their medical degree, Harvey decided to further specialize in Epidemiology and enrolled at Boston University in 2006. William completed their Master of Science degree in Epidemiology at Boston University in 2009.
