Andy Cohen

Andy Cohen is a seasoned database administrator with extensive experience in managing Oracle databases across various institutions. Currently serving as a Senior Oracle Database Administrator at Tufts University since March 2012, Andy plays a key role in the implementation of the Integrated Student Information Systems (iSIS) project, overseeing more than twenty production, development, and test databases that support the university community. Previously, at Harvard University Information Technology, Andy managed over twenty-five databases for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Early in the career, Andy gained diverse experience at the MBTA, Pactolus Communications Software, Vesta Credit Solutions, Lightbridge, Inc., and EDS, acquiring expertise in performance tuning, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery in complex environments. Andy holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
