Betsy Banks Saul

Betsy Banks Saul is an accomplished professional in the fields of veterinary medicine and animal welfare, currently serving as a General Member of the Board at WAGGLE FOUNDATION INC since April 2022 and as Founder and Executive Board Member at Petopia since December 2021. With extensive experience, Betsy co-founded Heal House Call Veterinarian in May 2012 and has held advisory roles at North Carolina State University- College of Veterinary Medicine and Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. As a long-term Director on the Board of the Alliance for Contraception for Cats and Dogs, Betsy promotes innovative solutions for pet sterilization. Additionally, Betsy is the Founder and Board President of the Petfinder.com Foundation and co-created Petfinder.com, a pioneering platform in online pet adoption. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at Discovery Communications and a Board Member at Asparity Decision Solutions. Betsy holds an MS in Wetlands and Groundwater Hydrology from Clemson University and a BS in Biology with a Chemistry minor from Missouri Southern State University.
