Chad Fisher

Chad Fisher currently serves as a Geospatial Data Science Specialist at Tufts University, where responsibilities include generating historical maps of Black Americans from 1620-1940, conducting digital archaeological exploration in Tunisia using machine learning and remote sensing, and supporting the development of spatial data science courses. Prior experience includes roles such as Data Lab Assistant for GIS and Statistics at J.P. Licks, Geospatial Analysis and Data Visualization Tisch Summer Fellow with Speak for the Trees Boston, and Food and Farm Educator at Washington Service Corps. Additional positions held include Shift Supervisor, Scooper, Urban Farming Assistant, and Field Team Leader for various organizations. Chad Fisher is pursuing a Master of Science in Agriculture, Food, and Environment with a concentration in Geospatial Data Science at The Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, having earned a Bachelor's degree from Rice University.
