Lorna Koppel is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving on the CISO Advisory Council at Dune Security since December 2023, Lorna has significantly contributed to Tufts University as the Director of Information Security and CISO since October 2014, overseeing security operations for a large institution with over 10,000 students and a $1.6 billion endowment. Previously, Lorna held the position of Vice President and CISO at Iron Mountain, where a comprehensive security program was developed, and served as Director of IT Security and CISO at Kohler Co. Lorna's career includes pivotal roles in global security at BT-Infonet and Infonet Services Corp., as well as foundational positions at Computer Sciences Corporation and MESOSCALE Environmental Simulations & Operations, with an early start as a US Air Force Officer. Lorna holds a Master's degree in Atmospheric Science from the University at Albany and dual Bachelor's degrees in Meteorology and Physics from Penn State University and Bowling Green State University, respectively.
