Tim Day is a highly experienced B1/B2/C licensed aircraft engineer with a career spanning over 19 years in the aviation industry. Currently serving as a Duty Engineer at TUI since August 2015, Tim has a strong background in both line and base maintenance. Prior to TUI, Tim worked at Monarch Aircraft Engineering as a B1 Certifying Technician, where responsibilities included base and line maintenance as well as AOG support. Tim also gained experience at XL Airways UK as a Certifying Mechanic focusing on line maintenance, and at Emirates Airline as a Lead Aircraft Mechanic, specializing in line maintenance. Earlier in the career, Tim worked as an Aircraft Fitter at Flybe, concentrating on base maintenance.
