Paul Carvell

Paul joined Tula in 2018, bringing an extensive knowledge of electric motor controls and power electronics systems to their electric motor efforts. Prior to Tula, Paul was technical director in the EV startup CleanWave Technologies, and prior to CleanWave, he was chief engineer with BAE Systems in the HybriDrive division where he worked on commuter buses, commercial trucks, military vehicles and electric aircraft programs.

Paul received his Bachelor's degree in Electronics (first class with honors), from Brighton Technical College (Brighton University) U.K.
