Brian Weimer

Brian Weimer currently serves as the Director of Research Compliance at Tulane University, a position held since May 2008, overseeing compliance in various areas including the use of human and animal subjects in research, recombinant DNA, infectious agents, and financial conflicts of interest. Prior to this role, Brian worked as an Associate Attorney at Berrigan Litchfield Schonekas from December 2004 to May 2008, focusing on commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and contract negotiations. Brian's experience also includes serving as an Associate Attorney at Wheelis & Rozanski, where practice areas covered bankruptcy, corporate transactions, and insurance defense. Brian began the legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Donald E. Walter, conducting legal research and drafting judicial documents. Brian holds a Juris Doctor from LSU Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Louisiana State University.
