David Stein

David Stein currently serves as Senior Associate General Counsel at Tulane University, focusing on litigation, insurance, risk management, and general healthcare and regulatory matters since October 2022. Prior to this role, David held positions at Pugh Accardo LLC as a Special Partner and at Adams and Reese LLP as a Partner, where responsibilities included commercial litigation, toxic tort and complex litigation, medical malpractice defense, and intellectual property, while also being a registered patent attorney and certified e-discovery specialist. David's earlier experience includes roles at Raytheon, where responsibilities ranged from leading quality programs for amphibious assault ships to serving as a senior systems engineer, alongside engineering positions at Lucent Technologies and Procter & Gamble. David holds a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and advanced and undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tulane University.
