Dolores A. Hemphill

Dolores A. Hemphill is an experienced academic professional currently serving as the Assistant Dean for Academic Advising at Tulane University since November 2005. In this role, Dolores manages the certification of over 1,500 undergraduate degrees annually and coordinates the efforts of more than 100 faculty and academic advisors. Previously, Dolores held the position of Senior Academic & Career Advisor, Manager, where responsibilities included assisting undergraduate students with curricular decisions and mentoring new advisors. Prior to Tulane University, Dolores worked at PwC as a Knowledge Manager, focusing on developing and implementing knowledge management solutions and training staff in technical documentation and communication. Dolores holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology from Tulane University and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from California State University, Northridge.
