Edward Cruz

Edward Cruz currently serves as the Assistant Dean and Executive Director of NTC Career Services at Tulane University, a position held since January 2020. In this role, Edward is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and has successfully reestablished NTC Career Services, implementing a proactive outreach model and launching initiatives such as the Career Champions Network and the Career Launch program, specifically aimed at supporting first-generation and BIPOC students. Prior to Tulane, Edward held various positions at the University of Miami including Director of Career Education at the Toppel Career Center, where significant contributions included the development of the Toppel 2025 Strategic Plan and innovative advising models. Edward's earlier experience includes managing residence halls at the University of Georgia. Edward holds a Master of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.
