Ellen Palmintier

Ellen Palmintier, JD, RN, serves as the Director of State & Federal Relations at Tulane University since May 2019. Prior to this role, Ellen held positions including Assistant Executive Counsel and Director of Boards and Commissions for the Office of the Governor - State of Louisiana from December 2015 to April 2019, and Associate Attorney at deGravelles, Palmintier, Holthaus & Frugé, LLP from August 2014 to December 2015. Ellen also gained experience as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Federal District Court, Middle District of Louisiana in 2015 and previously worked as a Law Clerk at the same law firm from December 2010 to April 2014. Ellen's nursing background includes roles as a Labor and Delivery RN at Woman's Hospital, Las Colinas Medical Center, and East Jefferson General Hospital. Ellen holds a JD from LSU Law, a BSN from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, and a BS in Biology from Louisiana State University.
