Eric Johns

Eric Johns is an academic and musicologist with extensive experience in higher education and archival work. Currently serving as Academic Studio Faculty at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts and as an Archivist and Curator at Tulane University, Eric's previous roles include Postdoctoral Fellow, Instructional Design Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and Associate Instructor at the University of California, Riverside from June 2015 to July 2023. Eric holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Musicology and Ethnomusicology from the University of California, Riverside (2014-2021) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music Performance from Southeastern Louisiana University (2005-2009).
