Rebecca Miller

Rebecca Miller has a strong background in software engineering and web design. Rebecca currently works as a Software Engineer at Tulip Interfaces, where they engineer large sections of initiatives, enhances integration testing, and debugs complex customer issues. Rebecca also collaborates with design and product teams to evaluate and implement new features. In addition, they oversee and mentors interns in their projects.

Prior to their current role, Rebecca worked as a Web Designer at Blue Boba Media, where they developed and maintained customer-centered websites for various organizations. Rebecca conducted interviews to determine business requirements and created visually appealing and functional design concepts.

Rebecca also has experience in project management, having served as the Head of Project Management at Tufts JumboCode. Rebecca managed a team of project managers and collaborated with the Executive Board to plan club events and facilitate member onboarding. Rebecca also worked as a Project Manager, guiding a team to develop a secure web portal and transforming the goals of a non-profit organization into a tangible product. Additionally, they worked as a Front End Web Developer, designing and implementing a web app for a non-profit organization and optimizing the user experience.

In terms of tutoring and education, Rebecca worked as a Subject Tutor and Head Tutor at Tufts University. Rebecca facilitated tutoring sessions, engaged students in deep conceptual understanding, and addressed skill development. Rebecca also worked as a Student Teacher Outreach and Mentorship Program Fellow at Tufts University Center for Engineering Education and Outreach, where they developed and taught STEM curricula for K-5 students.

Rebecca has gained internship experience as well. Rebecca interned as a Software Engineering Intern at Tulip Interfaces, where they integrated a user management system and completed high-demand widgets. Rebecca also interned as a Full-Stack Software Development Intern at HealthyVoyage, where they created a React front end for a sickness-treatment algorithm-creator web app.

Prior to their university years, Rebecca worked as a Camp Counselor at Deerfield Park District, where they organized and supervised activities for children aged 7-14. Rebecca also worked as Summer Help at First Bank of Highland Park, providing customer service and assisting with tax collection.

Overall, Rebecca Miller has a diverse work experience in software engineering, web design, project management, tutoring, and mentorship. Rebecca has shown great leadership and technical skills throughout their career.

Rebecca Miller attended New Trier Township High School in Winnetka from 2014 to 2018. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Tufts University from 2018 to 2022.
