Roey Mechrez

Roey Mechrez, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Ecosystem and EMEA GM at Tulip Interfaces, focusing on enhancing productivity through improved capabilities, third-party engagement, and commercial partnerships. Previously, Roey held the positions of Head of AI and played a pivotal role in guiding the digital transformation of frontline operations. As CEO and Co-founder of BeyondMinds, Roey developed production-ready AI systems aimed at maximizing ROI and mitigating failures in AI adoption. Roey's advisory roles at multiple companies, including Mechai Limited and Sama, leverage expertise in AI, machine learning, and product strategy. Academic experience includes teaching computer vision and deep learning at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, alongside research contributions as a PhD candidate and intern at IBM. Roey's foundational experience also includes work as an Algorithm Engineer at RSIP Vision and service in the Israeli Air Force as an air traffic controller. Roey holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and two degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
