Yuji C. has a diverse work experience in the fields of product design and UX research. They started their career as a Media Services Consultant at Wellesley College from September 2018 to May 2020. Afterwards, they worked as a UX Designer at MIT Media Lab from February 2020 to August 2020. Following this, Yuji C. became a Tech Fellow at Rewriting the Code from June 2020 to February 2022, where they connected with women in tech at universities worldwide and participated in professional development webinars and industry tech talks.
In 2021, Yuji C. joined Morning Brew as a Product Designer from May to August. They then worked at Our Voice as a Product Designer from March 2021 to September 2021, leading a team of designers to create a mobile application that makes participating in politics accessible and fun, specifically targeting the Gen Z demographic.
Currently, Yuji C. is employed as a UX Researcher at MIT Media Lab, a position they started in September 2021 and held until February 2022. They are now a Product Designer at Tulip Interfaces, starting in February 2022, where they focus on improving the user experience of Tulip's app builder on the Workflows team.
Yuji C. completed their Bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Sciences (Computer Science and Design) from Wellesley College, where they studied from 2018 to 2021. During their time at Wellesley College, they also pursued a Cross Registration at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2019 to 2022.
Prior to attending Wellesley College, Yuji C. attended Phillips Academy from 2014 to 2018. They completed their secondary education at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School, where they studied from 2007 to 2014.
In addition to their formal education, Yuji C. obtained a certification in Social and Behavioral Research Investigators from the CITI Program in May 2020.
