Alan Mitchell

Alan Mitchell is an accomplished E&I Construction Manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving at Wood since January 2019. With a significant role at Tullow Oil since 2016 as Construction Manager, responsibilities include management, scheduling, project execution, and handover of projects related to the FPSO Kwame Nkrumah MV21. Prior experience includes leading construction initiatives at AMEC, overseeing design reviews and commissioning projects, and managing construction and commissioning activities for MI SWACO. Alan began a career in electrical and instrumentation engineering with senior positions at Exxon Mobil, Marathon Oil, AGIP, and Total, demonstrating a strong background in commissioning and project management. Alan holds a Master's degree in Construction Project Management from The University of Salford.
