Annie Mitchell

Annie Mitchell currently serves as the Vice President of Community Investments at Tulsa Area United Way, a position held since August 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing community impact initiatives and guiding grant strategies across three key impact areas. Prior to this role, Annie spent over fifteen years at George Kaiser Family Foundation, initially as a Program Associate, providing administrative and program support, before advancing to Grants Manager, where management of grant activities and reporting for a large portfolio of organizations took place. Annie also contributed to academic research at the University of Oklahoma - Tulsa as a Graduate Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma - Tulsa and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma.
