Ellen Cummings has had extensive work experience at the Tulsa City-County Library. Ellen started their career in 2007 as a Research Center Manager and later became the Managing Librarian at the Brookside Library. In 2018, they transitioned to a new role as the West Region Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Customer Experience at the Tulsa City-County Library.
Ellen Cummings obtained their bachelor's degree in Sociology from The University of Tulsa, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. Ellen furthered their education by pursuing a master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Oklahoma, during the period of 1996 to 1999.
