Alex Kromm currently serves as an Assistant Coach for the Dubuque Fighting Saints since September 2023, following a career as a professional hockey player, which began in 2016. Notable playing tenures include stints with the Tulsa Oilers, Toledo Walleye, Rapid City Rush, Wheeling Nailers, and Columbus Cottonmouths. Prior to the coaching role, Alex accrued extensive experience in on-ice instruction at Okanagan Hockey Schools and hands-on labor positions with Osbourn Concrete Construction Inc. and Kevco Pipelines. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, earned from 2012 to 2016.

Tulsa Oilers
BACKGROUND The tradition of Tulsa Oilers hockey that began in 1928 continues to run deep today. The Oilers just completed their 69th season as a fixture of the Tulsa sports landscape and 29th consecutive season since the rebirth of the franchise in 1992. Since its opening in 2008, the Oilers have drawn more people to the BOK Center than any other team or event. The state-of-the-art downtown arena gives the Oilers the best home venue in the ECHL and affords the team a wide variety of options to enhance the fan experience. With 36 home games stretched over six months, the Oilers play an important role in the rejuvenation of downtown Tulsa and help to increase the city's economic strength. Over the last seven seasons, the Oilers are responsible for more than 40-percent of the BOK Center's total attendance. In the past 27 seasons of hockey, 4.7 million fans have flocked to downtown Tulsa to cheer on the Oilers!
