Lauren White

Lauren White is a highly accomplished oboist with extensive performance and teaching experience. Currently serving as the Principal Oboe for the Springfield Symphony Orchestra in Missouri since September 2023, Lauren has also held the position of Third Oboe/English Horn with the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra since September 2018. Additional roles include Development Associate at Stony Brook University and Undergraduate Oboe Instructor at both Stony Brook University and Yale University. Lauren's educational background includes a Master of Musical Arts and a Master of Music in Oboe Performance from Yale University, along with a Bachelor of Music from Southern Methodist University. Currently, Lauren is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Oboe Performance at Stony Brook University, expected to complete in December 2024.
