Bruce Plante

Bruce Plante is an experienced editorial cartoonist with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as an editorial cartoonist for Tulsa World since October 2007, Bruce has previously worked at The Chattanooga Times from 1985 to October 2007 and at Chattanooga Publishing Company during the same period. Prior roles include staff artist and editorial cartoonist at The Fayetteville Times/Observer from February 1981 to February 1985, as well as staff artist and op-ed editorial cartoonist at The Arkansas Democrat from February 1978 to February 1981. Bruce's educational background includes a degree from the University of Arkansas, completed between 1972 and 1977. In addition to cartooning, Bruce is also recognized as a comedian and motivational speaker.
