Klaus Martin Hecht is the CEO and Founder of HKM Consulting GmbH since 1993, specializing in intellectual property protection, cyber security, data leakage protection, and compliance management. Additionally, Klaus serves as a docent for Information Technology and Cyber Security at Macromedia Akademie and holds various advisory and juror roles within the TUM Speakers Series, TUM Business Game, and TUM Business Club. Klaus's previous experience includes significant positions at Eleven GmbH, Digital Guardian, Websense Deutschland GmbH, PiroNet NDH GmbH, and Siemens AG, focusing on consulting, data protection, cyber security, and service management. Klaus holds a degree from the Technical University of Munich, completed in 2000.

In 2016, after the success of TUM Speakers Series, students of the TUM School of Management decided to organize an on-stage business challenge where talented students across the world will be selected and invited to participate in an one-day case competition. This event is a unique occasion to enable students with various backgrounds in business, economics, science, and engineering to put their skills to the test as they tackle real-life business cases while simultaneously allowing business to get in touch with tomorrow's talent.
